A native hunter pulls up out front of the Northern Lights restaurant in Petersburg's harbor with a moose he had recently shot. Sometimes the bets images happen when I'm not on assignment. in this case I was working on a travel story for The New York Times on the Tongass National Forest and came across this scene returning to my hotel in the evening.
